The Chrissy Cares Method™
Everything I do is guided by five simple principles.
Every family has a story. Before discussing dementia, I take time to understand you, your loved one, and the journey that has brought you here. Listening comes first.
Together we explore your current situation. This includes understanding the needs of the person living with dementia, the wellbeing of the primary carer, daily routines, safety, communication, and any challenges you may be experiencing.
Dementia can feel overwhelming. My role is to provide reassurance, answer your questions honestly, and help you understand what is happening in a calm and supportive way.
Knowledge builds confidence. I provide practical advice and realistic strategies that can make everyday life easier and help you feel more confident in your caring role.

Dementia care can be so rewarding.

Over the last four years, Chrissy has been the mainstay of support for my husband with now advanced Alzheimer’s and for me as his main carer. She is so understanding of both our needs and is always ready to talk knowledgeably about different ways to care for him most effectively. She is utterly reliable, kind, compassionate, friendly and willing to make adjustments when needed. Chrissy has recently dealt professionally with a health crisis that arose when she was on her own.
Chrissy first started caring for my wife (92) two years ago who had mild dementia, my wife then had a traumatic fall 3 days after I had a stroke at 90. Although my wife is now in care, Chrissy remains an integral part of my entire family as she helped me get through recovery during the months after my stroke and still does weekly visits with my wife at the care home. Chrissy is forward thinking, observant, problem solving, empathetic and highly knowledgeable in dementia care and always considers the family carer as well as the person with dementia. I don`t know where we would be without her reliability and the ability to adapt to situations as and when they arose.
Chrissy has been such a positive influence in caring for my mother (89) The relationship she built with myself as my mothers main carer, as well as my mother, made her feel heard, loved and happy. Chrissy worked with such care that protected my mothers independance and dignity.
Let me help you through your dementia journey, It is always better when you feel supported and heard.
